My creative research examines how governing history, culture, family, religion, happiness is in our lives.
What influence has a society on the world, on nature. And how do changes in the world, in the climate define our society.
Of particular interest in my work is the reality, the complexity, the identity of the woman therein. What does it mean to be a woman? Especially about this I want to develop a dialog with my work.
Tinne studied Interior Design at Sint-Lucas Brussels and specialized in Stage and Costume Design at VŠMU Bratislava, Slovakia.
During her stay in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, she encountered glass making and her passion for glass began.
She graduated at IKA Mechelen, Glass Art, Higher Grade and is now continuing her Specialisation Grade.
Encouraged by her teacher Sandra De Clerck, she started attending the Bild-Werk Frauenau Academy in 2010. This inspiring place has become an addition to her education, specifically for glass engraving and in particular for copperwheel engraving.
She is a member of Verribelglass, a common creative project with glass artists and those interested in glass, centered on information, education and exchange.
